Find and replace is the cleanup step after a messy export: rename a product, strip a phrase, or rewrite a token with a regular expression. Matches are counted as you type the query.

For space-only problems, Remove whitespace is faster. For structured data, prefer the JSON formatter.

Does find and replace support regex?

Yes. Enable the regex option and use JavaScript regular expression syntax. Invalid patterns show an error instead of wiping your text.

Can I make it case-insensitive?

Case-insensitive is the default for plain search. Turn on “Match case” when you need an exact match.

Is there a limit on size?

Only what your browser will hold in memory. There is no upload quota because nothing is sent.

How do I preview before replacing?

The output pane updates live. Keep split view on so the original stays on the left.
