Antakshari random word generator

Antakshari is the song chain you play in a living room, on a train, or around a wedding table: someone sings, the next person answers with another song. This generator gives the group a Hindi word to start from — tap Generate Word, read the Devanagari prompt, and sing something that contains it or starts with it.

The list is local. There is no API and no account. Words are everyday song vocabulary: दिल, प्यार, चाँद, बारिश, यारा, सावन. Filters for Easy, Romantic, Fun, Bollywood, and Classic keep a round on-theme without turning the page into a dictionary.

How to play

1. Pass a phone around or put it on the table.
2. Tap Generate Word.
3. The singer uses that word as a prompt.
4. The next player either follows the last letter of the song you just heard, or taps Generate again for a fresh prompt.
